Roll on Jade was one of the first brands to introduce the gua sha and other stone tools to the commercial beauty space in France, gaining them a cult following and becoming an elite brand in spas like the Four Seasons across Europe. They came to Modifly looking for help launching their brand in the US market, and wanted to take a new approach to their website while redefining their brand identity. With high-quality and beautiful tools that stood out in the space (as well as on your bathroom counter), we made them stand out online and across social media.

The Ask

Due to the price point of the tools and the quality of the stones, elevating the brand and website’s look was the most important ask. They wanted their new color palette to reflect the color of these powerful stones, but not feel overpowering or too bold. It was also imperative to highlight the history and proper usage of the tools, educating consumers on what makes ROJ special and why these tools will change their beauty routine forever.

The Outcome

We brought Roll on Jade’s vision to life with muted earth tones, elegant and clean fonts, and by utilizing imagery that showcased both the quality of the products as well as a group of diverse and natural women. On the product pages, we educated consumers on quality, power of the materials, while bringing forward the brand’s emphasis on and devotion to natural beauty.
