Zenimal was founded with the purpose of helping people lead healthier, more joyful lives through meditation. Zenimal trusted Modifly to build a captivating digital presence, while also revamping their ad funnels. As Creative Lead on the account, I was responsible for setting the creative direction for web design, organic and paid media, newsletters, as well as studio and lifestyle photography.

The Ask
Our biggest challenge all around was the lack of consistency in the Zenimal brand’s visual identity. We needed to establish a look and feel, taking a minimalistic approach to design to replicate the ‘zen’ feeling founder Anna wanted to convey.
For product ads specifically, we had the added challenge of appealing to an audience of parents while also piquing curiosity and excitement in their kids. Zenimal needed a data-driven approach to rework their digital design.
The Outcome
Within a few months of our partnership, we had increased conversion on paid media by 62.2%. Taking an omni-channel approach, narrowing down specific audiences through testing, and establishing a clean and simplistic design direction from site to socials contributed to this increase. We saw our most success with video ads on Youtube and static single image ads on FB/IG and Pinterest.
We curated a mindful space on social and on Zenimals.com, taking an education-first approach. Paid media included a combination of motion design, videos, static imagery, and carousels in order to capture our audience’s attention. We also curated a wider color palette of blues, beiges, and teals to add more dimension to what was once a one color palette. This approach helped boost engagement and support Zenimal’s rise as a leader in the mindfulness space.
